Loyola Industrial Training Institute was established in the year 1949 by Later Fr. Loesch SJ and it was a registered society under the societies registration act XXI or 1860 No. 4. of 1945 – 50. It was run by the Society of Jesus for a long time facing many an adverse situation and finally in 1968 the Loyola Industrial School was handed to Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel – a registered Society under the same Act.

XXI of 1960 through its then president Rev. Bro. Anthony Francisco Sg. to mange and administer the Institute. Loyola Industrial Training Institute has grown through the ages and now we undertake all kinds of fabrication work along with training in Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Machinist, Electrician and Fitter.

These courses are recognized since 1982 by Directorate General of Employment & Training ( D.G.E. & T.) and students appear for All India Trade Test conducted by the National council For Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.). At present the institute facilitates three trades Electrician, Fitter and Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Technician.
